*4.00pm On Friday the Government is due to announce whether a new runway will be built at Heathrow or Gatwick. Here’s a prediction – they’ll funk it and kick it into the long grass. Probably until after the mayoral election. They will cite new evidence on the environmental impact as the reason. Wouldn’t that be a totally political decision and encourage yet more cynicism about politicians?
*5.00pm People have to make a judgement call as to whether they can afford to live in London, so says Housing Minister Brandon Lewis. Is this an admission that inadvertent social cleansing is well underway in the nation’s capital?
*6.00pm As Stop the War coalition protesters march on Labour HQ and Tory HQ in central London the LibDems are set to announce whether they will support the bombing of Daesh targets in Syria. Is Stop the War an organisation which is genuinely peace loving and has its heart in the right place, or are they just a bunch of extreme left wing Trots who are irrelevant to the debate?
